Carissa joined the Atmospheric Biogeochemistry Laboratory as part of the RCNR SPUR Program. Among her many activities, she participated in the Tonzi Ranch field outing, conducted measurements on the GC-MS, and conducted methane flux measurements from a former landfill site.
