Spring 2025 student research

(May 5, 2025) We welcomed 5 new undergraduate researchers to the lab: Emily Savrnoch, James Li, Carissa Loverme, Ella Herbert, and Sia Agarwal. They teamed up with our continuing undergraduates Selena Shen, Charlie Diaz, and Tiana Salisbury, and graduate student Will Riley. Among the many research activities this semester, group members tested equipment in the laboratory, measured air samples on the GC-MS, worked on the FRISC project, presented at the Berkeley Atmospheric Sciences Center (BASC) Symposium, volunteered at Cal Day, conducted flux chamber measurements at an oak savanna woodland, and measured methane emissions from a local field site.
